INTERLAB

Manchester iGEM 2017 is proud to have taken part in the InterLab study for the first time. We hope our participation will benefit other teams and the synthetic biology community as a whole.

HUMAN PRACTICES

We consulted experts in the water industry and gained insights into innovation management. In addition, exploration on intellectual property, scale-up and legislation all informed our business plan.

MODELLING

Three modelling approaches were used to inform different parts of our project: modelling a continuous culture system for cost estimation, ensemble modelling and Design of Experiments.

ENTERPRISE

A business plan was developed from each different components of our project. A customer and competitor analysis was conducted to evaluate the attractiveness of Phosphostore in the market.

MEASUREMENT
