  <br>Our project can be divided into two parts--searching and designing. To search for information of iGEM teams and biobricks, users can input keywords of what they want to get, and the results will be shown in a moment. Users can also search for information of certain tracks and combination of tracks by selecting tracks under the search box. Semantically similar keywords will be recommended to inspire further searching. Furthermore, among the searching results, clicking on any of the teams will be redirected to the detailed information page of the team, and the address of their wiki will also be shown in the page. A recommended list of similar teams will be shown on the right side along with the keywords of these teams.

  As for designing, we inherited this part from the 2016 HFUT-China team and perfected it. Users can devise their own gene chains by dragging parts listed on the left and dropping them on a certain position of the chain. Once a part is chosen, the information of it will be shown. Moreover, parts which are most likely to appear ahead of or behind the part will be recommended to serve for convenience.

SEARCH

We collecte the information of all teams from 2004 to 2016, and devise algorithms to analyze it. The result of analyzation is used to build the backend database. Users can input keywords to search for teams related to these words. To obtain more specific searching results, users can select tracks or combination of tracks which are shown under the search box. Selecting no tracks means searching under all tracks.
