General Overview
Did you know about hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)) before learning about our project? To be honest, neither did we. Though human practices, our team sought to raise awareness about CrVI and challenge the conventional attitudes of people toward CrVI and synthetic biology as a whole. In other words, we had a lot of fun meeting and talking to students, policy researchers, water treatment experts, and others to teach them about the dangers of CrVI and the necessity of our project.
