The Problem and Solution
As the improvement of transportation and technology, more and more people choose to shop online and have home delivery. However, different goods have different restriction, including temperature, moisture, UV absorbance......etc. Though the deliveryman promised that they obey the restrictions, we still can't assure. An detection mechanism is urgently needed, and this is the goal of our project.
Overview
We plan to design an e.coli that will change its color once it detect overwhelmed UV light or exorbitant temperature. We've designed a sticker-liked device which can be apply on goods that will be delivered. By doing so, if the color of the sticker does not change, the logistics company can guarantee their quality and customers can be more disburden. On the other hand, if the color changed, the company should pay more attention on their progress of delivering.
