DNA Distribution Kit
Each team will receive a copy of the DNA Distribution Kit. This kit has a curated selection of the best parts teams have built and resources to help iGEMers test their competent cells and submit samples to us at the end of the season. We expect to begin the Distribution Kit shipment process for our 2017 iGEM teams in mid-April.
The iGEM 2017 DNA Distribution contains:
- DNA Distribution Kit Plates 1 - 6
- Linearized Plasmid Backbones
- Transformation Efficiency Kit
- InterLab Measurement Kit
- 2017 Part Submission Kit
- iGEM Stickers and Pins!
With this kit, teams design, build and submit their own parts. Their new BioBricks are sent and added to the iGEM Registry in the spirit of the "Get & Give" philosophy. Every year, the number of parts contributed by associated groups increases the collection of parts that can be used by groups in future years.
