    <p class="title">Survey Collaboration</p>

    <p class="content">International Survey aims to investigate the background knowledge of synthetic biology and the experience about genetic engineering across the world. There are 11 iGEM teams from different continents in the collaboration. The idea of the survey was first proposed by iGEM Aachen 2016, and fortunately, we had had online meetups in August. So we gladly accepted the offer as a principal team in Asia. We surveyed people on the street. Finally, we collected more than 500 samples and got some great result. <p class="content">Furthermore, we shot episodes to promote and discuss different topics, including “What is synthesis biology?” “Biosafety,” “How to share the things we develop?” and so on. The episodes then converge into one film Also, in the film, it integrates multicultural topics. The diversity of cultures is what we want to present in the film. The teams are from 5 countries including Germany, Mexico, Taiwan, England and Pakistan.

The new iGEM team

NCTU_Formosa started to introduce experiments which is related to iGEM to the science-gifted class of Taichung First Senior High School(TCFSH) since April 14. Gradually, the background knowledge of synthetic biology was adequate, then the cogitation of combination to engineering and biology was shared, the core of the gene regulation, the design of biobricks were taught. What's more, they introduce previous project from NCTU_Formasa, giving us the prospect of the competition.

This year, we were honored to take part in the Newsletter team collaboration edited by XMU-China iGEM team. We have penned an article in the Newsletter describing our project. (see the link for the Newsletter)

Survey Collaboration

International Survey aims to investigate the background knowledge of synthetic biology and the experience about genetic engineering across the world. There are 11 iGEM teams from different continents in the collaboration. The idea of the survey was first proposed by iGEM Aachen 2016, and fortunately, we had had online meetups in August. So we gladly accepted the offer as a principal team in Asia. We surveyed people on the street. Finally, we collected more than 500 samples and got some great result.     Furthermore, we shot episodes to promote and discuss different topics, including “What is synthesis biology?” “Biosafety,” “How to share the things we develop?” and so on. The episodes then converge into one film Also, in the film, it integrates multicultural topics. The diversity of cultures is what we want to present in the film. The teams are from 5 countries including Germany, Mexico, Taiwan, England and Pakistan.
