Team

In this page you can introduce your team members, instructors, and advisors.

Inspiration

You can look at what other teams did to get some inspiration!
Here are a few examples:

What should this page contain?
  • Include pictures of your teammates, don’t forget instructors and advisors!
  • You can add a small biography or a few words from each team member, to tell us what you like, and what motivated you to participate in iGEM.
  • Take team pictures! Show us your school, your lab and little bit of your city.
  • Remember that image galleries can help you showcase many pictures while saving space.
Name Location Description
Payton Boylston Naval Research Laboratory I am about to start my second year at the United States Military Academy. For this project I was amazed by the amount of engineering that was required in order to prepare for our experimentation.
Rayonna Gordon Naval Research Laboratory I am a senior Biomedical Engineering major at North Carolina A&T State University. Incorporating biology with engineering is what I aim to do as a career. This project has given me insight and helped develop my skills in combining biology and several different engineering disciplines.
Winston Ou Naval Research Laboratory Hi, I'm a rising Junior studying Chemical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. I enjoyed the engineering aspect of our project, particularly having to design everything and seeing it come to fruition.
Jason Hug United States Military Academy Born and raised in Bryan, OH, I am a Life Science major and Senior at the United State Military Academy. I have been a member of this research team for one full year and look forward to using my knowledge and experience on the project to build and lead our "e-Nose" team of well-rounded individuals.
Alanna Appel United States Military Academy I am an Engineering Psychology major with a pre-Medicine track. I am new to research, but I am looking forward to working on the project and gaining laboratory experience outside of class.
Channah Mills United States Military Academy I am a Sophomore at the United States Military Academy. I am a Life Sciences major and very excited to be able to combine what I am learning in class with actual lab experience. For this project I have been working mainly with the vectors, an aspect which really interests me and has helped me develop some technical skills.
Matt McDonough United States Military Academy I am a sophomore studying Life Science at the United States Military Academy, or West Point. I have worked mainly with the computer-aided design aspect of this project, but I am looking forward to working on the biological engineering side it.
James Pruneski United States Military Academy I am a junior studying Mathematical Sciences at the United States Military Academy. I spent time last year observing this project, but I am looking forward to helping out with it this year.
Zachary Andersen United States Military Academy I am a Life Science major in my fourth year of school. While this is my first year on a research team, I hope that my lab experience I have earned through classes at the Academy provide a benefit to the team.
