Zachary Andersen United States Military Academy Student Leader Zach is a Life Science major in his fourth year at USMA. While this is my first year on a research team, I hope that my lab experience I have earned through classes at the Academy provide a benefit to the team.
Jason Hug United States Military Academy Student Leader Born and raised in Bryan, OH, I am a Life Science major and Senior at the United State Military Academy. I have been a member of this research team for one full year and look forward to using my knowledge and experience on the project to build and lead our "e-Nose" team of well-rounded individuals.
Alanna Appel United States Military Academy I am an Engineering Psychology major with a pre-Medicine track. I am new to research, but I am looking forward to working on the project and gaining laboratory experience outside of class.
Payton Boylston Naval Research Laboratory Payton am about to start my second year at the United States Military Academy. For this project I was amazed by the amount of engineering that was required in order to prepare for our experiments.
Rayonna Gordon Naval Research Laboratory Rayonna is a senior Biomedical Engineering major at North Carolina A&T State University who worked at the Naval Research Laboratory. Incorporating biology with engineering is what she aims to do as a career. This project has given her insight and helped develop her skills in combining biology with several different engineering disciplines.
Channah Mills United States Military Academy I am a Sophomore at the United States Military Academy. I am a Life Sciences major and very excited to be able to combine what I am learning in class with actual lab experience. For this project I have been working mainly with the vectors, an aspect which really interests me and has helped me develop some technical skills.
Matt McDonough United States Military Academy I am a sophomore studying Life Science at the United States Military Academy, or West Point. I have worked mainly with the computer-aided design aspect of this project, but I am looking forward to working on the biological engineering side it.
Winston Ou Naval Research Laboratory Hi, I'm a rising Junior studying Chemical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. I enjoyed the engineering aspect of our project, particularly having to design everything and seeing it come to fruition.
James Pruneski United States Military Academy I am a junior studying Mathematical Sciences at the United States Military Academy. I spent time last year observing this project, but I am looking forward to helping out with it this year.
