Thanks to all our sponsors for believing in our project! We are now well on the way to raising enough money to get us to Boston.
University of Bristol: Faculty of Biomedical Sciences / IRIS (Interdisciplinary Research Internship Scheme) / The Alumni Foundation / School of Biochemistry
The Faculty of Biomedical Sciences gave a significant amount of funding for studentships and for the Boston jamboree registration, while IRIS gave funding for three student stipends. Funding from the Alumni Foundation and the School of Biochemistry will also help get the team to Boston.
BrisSynBio
"BrisSynBio is a multi-disciplinary research centre that focuses on the biomolecular design and engineering aspects of synthetic biology"
BrisSynBio's generous donation went towards consumables, funding our studentships and funding our travel to Boston.

Unit DX
Unit DX provides flexible, high-spec laboratory space available for rent in Central Bristol.
Funding from Unit DX early on in the project allowed us to create our Plasmid Puzzle Game, attend the Big Bang Fair fully equipped and travel to the iGEM UK meetup.
Generon
"Generon commercialises reagents (antibodies, recombinants, ELISA kits, RNAi, cDNA clones, probes, PCR/qPCR reagents...) to diagnostic and research labs. As a very dynamic company, we do our best to be close to our customers' needs in terms of high quality reagents that we propose and in terms of service that we provide."
Generon's funding will help us get to the jamboree in Boston.

IDT is the largest manufacturer of custom oligonucleotide products in the US.
IDT synthesised our Nap and Nrf fragments free of charge.
SnapGene
SnapGene creates software to meet the everyday needs of molecular biologists.
SnapGene allowed us to use their software for free, which enabled us to design our Nap and Nrf operons and PCR primers.
