PRIMARY
INVESTIGATOR
Dr
Rajiv Ranjan:-
Dr Rajiv Ranjan, has been an
invaluable driving force, behind the working of the project, and has always
been a source of inspiration.
After obtaining Ph.D. in
biotechnology from Institute of life sciences, Department of biotechnology,
Govt. of India, he is working as an Assistant Professor at Department of
Botany, Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Dayalbagh Agra-282005, Uttar Pradesh,
India.
His Lab is involved in generating
efficient promoter from plant viruses. He is also working on molecular aspects
of medicinal plants and bioremediation using synthetic biology.
Dr Rajiv Ranjan has been proving his
excellence in the field of biotechnology which is truly reflected by his
publication in several esteemed journals.
SECONDARY
INVESTIGATOR
Prof. J.N Srivastava:-
He has
been a backbone to our project. Supporting us in all of our endeavours for
various lab activities and experiments. He is a visionary and inspiration for
our team.
He
had done Ph.D. in microbiology and has many publications, recognitions and accolades
under his name. He is a member of editorial board of different national and
International journal and had successfully completed several UGC and DST
projects. He had developed an effective microbial technology for remediation of
waste water, along with this; he heads ‘Department of Botany’ D.E.I (AGRA).
TEAM
INSTRUCTORS-
1)
DIPINTE GUPTA:-
(Ph.D.
Scholar)- She is currently working on Developing of efficient synthetic transcriptional
promoter and has a great hand on cloning techniques, therefore is an
outstanding instructor for our team, guiding our project through her experience
and knowledge about the synthetic world of biology.
2) MRINALINI PRASAD:-
(Ph.D.
Scholar) - She is presently researching on Transcriptomics of medicinal plants
[Piper]), and forms an unbreakable bond of our group. She is an atom
binding all others to create a magical molecule called “TEAM DEI”. She provides
us with valuable inputs regarding new methodologies for monitoring water
quality and other water checks.
GROUP
MEMBERS:-
1) SIMRAN
SINGH :-
Pursuing botany honours (3rd
yr. B.Sc.)
Has been designated as
team leader for her excellent management skills and zeal to motivate her team
members in all their endeavours, along with providing valuable ideas and
concept.
Her motto is simple:-
“When going gets tough,
Let the tough get going”
2) GAURI
SHARMA :-
Undergraduate ( B.Sc. 3rd
yr. student) is a botany enthusiast, and ardent lover of books and poetries;
thus this combination makes her an unconventional presenter, as what could be a
better way to present dull/sulky research details in beautiful poetic linguistics.
3) RICHA:-
(In her 3rd
year, pursuing botany honours) she is a botanist, with a technical mind, which
forms a great combo, in our group’s technical pursuit during the course of
project development , always keeping track of project through graph and data
analysis.
4) NAZIYA
PARVEEN:-
(3rd year
undergraduate student) is the painter of the group, filling colours not only to
the project logos but also within life of all her team members. So trust us
when we say:-
“Magic is in her hands”
5) PRAGATI
YADAV :-
(3rd yr. B.Sc.
student) The ‘nerd’ of the group. Providing all the necessary statistics
members, what’s and why’s for the project; thereby keeping group updated with
new research’s around the world.
6) KUSUM DIXIT
:-
The head botanist in the
group, pursuing M.Sc. in botany. Guiding the group through complex mechanism of
botanical world and providing better understanding of varied concepts.
7) SHIVI KULSHRESHTHA:-
M.tech
2nd year student is a 'techie' of our group whose only hobby is to play with
computer languages from Java to HTML, and his only play ground is his computer.
8) VARSHA VARSHNEY:-
(M.Tech 2yr student) is a “programming nerd”
enjoys working with computer languages, and know how to manipulate them to
create a
“TEAM WIKI”!!!
9) CHANDAN MAURYA:-
He is a research Scholar, who likes capturing
his Cultures within his camera lenses, loves using filters in labs as well as
on his pictures!!!
