Karen Taylor
Karen is a second-year chemical engineering student that will hopefully end up with a master’s in biotechnology. Her first and last exposure to biology was in freshman year AP biology, but that was all she needed to dedicate her life to synthetic biology. Karen believes the key to healthcare is through genes, and she’ll be darned if she doesn’t find it. When Karen's not struggling to understand things in the lab, she's producing music for her brother’s friends, watching documentaries, or skyping her 4 pets/kids.
