Shandong University set up a iGEM team first time this year. Our project was performed in a lab of Shandong University, and our lab is very close to theirs. So it’s very convenient for us to communicate with each other. We shared some ideas, technologies and social resources. And we mutual helped sometime. They aided us to measure the pressure of CO2 and O2 using a Blood-gas analyzer. Meanwhile, we helped them to dub their video at the homepage.

With the request of the BGIC-Union team, we provided them with some experimental materials and equipment to finish some experiments. We shared our lab with BGIC-China team members and provided guidance and advice on the transformation and extract plasmids sHRPN-dCas9 and sHRPC-dCas9. With our help, they cultured the bacteria, and harvests the plasmid of larger amount. This promotes effectively the smooth progress for their project.
