Preface

We have visited some cosmetics storefront and logistic company. During our visit and interview, we gain some valuable suggestions and some positive feedback which our project would be useful.

One weekend, our teammates interviewed the cosmetics counter staff of several department stores. Quite a few kindly answered our questions and shared their experience with us. Our appreciation to the counters below.

Business Study – The ogistic department of convenient store

Taiwan has the highest density of convenient store in the world. In other hand, convenient stores have been one of the main clients of the logistic industry. Hence, we contacted with a superintendent of a well-known chain convenient store and made a visit. There, we discuss the relationship between convenient store and logistic industry.

Business Study – Advanced Delivery Technology Co., Ltd

TSkin care products are like cosmetic products. They need carefully taken care to avoid sunlight and high temperature. Advanced Delivery Technology Co. is a company which has expertise in skin care products and biomedical material. It is our pleasure to have interviewed Dr. Liu, the CEO of the company. We asked him questions about international transportation. He not only answered particularly, but also gave us a big support.

Business Study – VEDAN Company

Three of our members interviewed a few superintendents of Vedan Company, a leading food company in Taiwan. They told us about some procedure that the food products go through.

We asked if food products that are preserved at room temperature would need the service of our product. The answer we got was “not really.” Since the quality of their products is unlikely to deteriorate within a short period of time, it’s not a big deal whether the temperature during the transportation process is higher than 37 degrees Celsius or not. They said that even if the temperature rose to 45 or 50 degrees Celsius, it is acceptable.

Besides, MOL (Taiwan) Co., Ltd. and Polysciences Asia Pacific, Inc. have filled in our internet questionnaire, which is also helpful in understanding the international transportation.
