Through the following activities, we constantly drove our project with a general viewpoint by exchanging opinions and discussions with non-professionals as well as professionals.

2) Engaging professionals
We visited the Kyoto City Forestry Association and the Kyoto Osaka Forestry Association to listen to the measures taken in Kyoto City against pine-wilt disease and grasp the problems of the existing measures.

3) Forest survey
In order to know the current situation of pine-wilt disease in Kyoto, we actually went to mountains three times and ran a survey.
We also collected pine wood nematodes there as a survey.
