Meet the Team!

Hey everyone! We are MIT's 2017 iGEM team consisting of 12 students studying anything from biology and chemical engineering (or both) to computer science. We are [fun description here, talk about memes] We are excited to show you what all we've done, but first meet the MIT iGEM family!

Adil
Adil is a falling junior majoring in Computer Science and Molecular Biology at MIT. He is interested in using computational logic to understand biology and use biological tool to perform computations. He is fascinated by synthetic biology and metabolic engineering/strain development and probably spends way too much time reading papers. Aside from science, Adil has fun reading web comics, watching movies, hiking, biking, playing frisbee, and rock climbing.

Ali
Ali a rising junior majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He is excited to work on iGEM’s team because he has always been interested in the central dogma and its elements on the fundamental level, and how fun it is to play with and build genetic circuits. Outside classes, he enjoys hanging out with friends, trying out different sports, and reading thriller books.

Inspiration

You can look at what other teams did to get some inspiration!
Here are a few examples:

What should this page contain?
  • Include pictures of your teammates, don’t forget instructors and advisors!
  • You can add a small biography or a few words from each team member, to tell us what you like, and what motivated you to participate in iGEM.
  • Take team pictures! Show us your school, your lab and little bit of your city.
  • Remember that image galleries can help you showcase many pictures while saving space.
