Model interface

When developing and analyzing our model, we noticed that a Matlab platform and significant knowledge in informatics and mathematics were needed to use our model, modify it, and run analyses. To make this accessible for everyone, we thus decided to develop a user-friendly web interface. The current interface, developed in Javascript, allows users to simulate the system dynamics for different values of the two key parameters we have identified: the initial concentrations in Vibrio cholerae and Pichia pastoris. You can use the interface below.

V. cholerae concentration:
105 cell/L
106 cell/L
107 cell/L
108 cell/L
109 cell/L
P. pastoris concentration:
1011 cell/L
4.1011 cell/L
7.1011 cell/L
1012 cell/L
4.1012 cell/L

Future developments of the interface could be envisaged, like adding other input parameters. This interface may also be used on smartphones and tablets in theory (thanks to the use of responsive design), though this does not work yet in practice on all the systems. However, our first version remains an easy way to use our model, which could be used in the “Application” part of our project.
