The Museum
The Asheville Museum of Science (AMOS) is Western North Carolina’s home for experiential science learning, discovery, and exploration. AMOS strives to spark the imagination and foster lifelong curiosity.
We led the kids through the extraction of DNA from a strawberry.
We talked about scientific observation. Kids were engaged to think about what would happen when we added the buffer solution to the strawberries.
Quite a few families came through. I think they had a good time.
Jackson provides bespoke farm-to-table centrifugation for the scientists of tomorrow.
The always lovely Kenzi Martin deigned to join us for the festivities for that day.
The High School
The Madison County School system is recognized as a very progressive school system continuously striving to provide quality educational programs and services to our 2,400 students that are served. Madison County High School is located in beautiful Mars Hill, NC.
