This year Team BIT makes great efforts and have a try to make the project be realized on demonstrate. In the meanwhile we have achieved the criterion of five iGEM Prizes : Integrated Human Practices, Education and Public Engagement, Entrepreneurship, Hardware and Best New Composite Part. Now here are the details for these Prizes.
JACOB is offering a new interaction between healthcare and patients. Treatments are now based on preventive basis instead of passive and remedial. Diseases such as cancers will be less lethal when devices like JACOB being widely utilized. For countries like China having public healthcare system, such will be a great financial relief which actually saves “lives” and raise the living standard in comparison to insurance. Less conflicts would arise between patients and hospitals. Those advantages are drew upon JACOB being economical and user friendly, as well as being a non-invasive, safe diagnostic tools that is in the favor of public impressions and laws among many nations.
