Human Practice

This year we focused on JACOB’s advantage of portability, efficiency, and accessibility. If aptamer bio-sensing and fluorescent protein achieve JACOB portability and efficiency, hardware makes JACOB affordable and interface-friendly. Hardware, completing the conversion from fluorescence signal to electrical ones, was divided into two main functional modules: microfluidic chip and detecting system.Their size and position in the instrument can be seen in Fig 1.2. chip, as the carrier of E.coli, guaranteed the fluorescent transformation while detecting system achieved the ultimate goal of cancer early screening.
