Teams and Community Hub

Welcome to the Teams and Community Hub! You will find different ways to interact with the rest of the iGEM community on this page, as well as general Team information for the 2017 season.

Remember to sign up for our iGEM Newsletters so you can stay up to date with iGEM throughout the year!

Team Information

Team List

iGEM Team List includes team profiles, titles and abstracts, track selection, team rosters, and more information about the team status.

Team Wikis

All teams are required to create a Team Wiki to document their project. This serves as the public facing representation of each team's work.

Team Parts

Every iGEM team is assigned a set of BioBrick numbers for their Team Parts that they create and work with throughout the iGEM competition.

2017 Team Meetups

Meetups are events where local teams get together to share, collaborate and work together. If you're planning a meetup this year or want to attend one, please take a look at the Meetups page!

Community Information

Community Bulletin

The iGEM Community Bulletin page lets you see what some of your fellow iGEM Teams are up to this year. This is a great location to set up collaborations and post information about other topics that may interest the wider iGEM community.

Connect with the iGEM Community

iGEM is a global community and we encourage everyone to connect with other teams and with members of iGEM HQ. Check out our Connect page to find out how to connect with HQ and the rest of the iGEM community.

Mentorship Program

The AlumniGEM mentorship program provides a means for high school and collegiate iGEM teams to learn how the iGEM competition works and for iGEM alumni to refine communication, leadership, and mentoring skills. We are running a pilot program and will use what we learn this year to make the program even better in the future!
