Both receivers described below were designed to be inserted into a modular receiver vector pSB1C3 with an inducible promoter, a constitutive promoter, a green fluorescent protein (GFP) 2 ribosomal binding sites (RBS)- one for the respective regulator protein and one for a Green Fluorescent Protein
