Team set-up and management

Our PI, professor Ynling Ma, is an expert in oil degradation bacteria. She gave us a lot of advise in molecular experiments and the design of our project, which make our project more feasible.

Lab support
Our project mainly carried out in our PI′s lab. This laboratory has researched a lot on oil degradation, so that we can get sufficient supply from our lab,. Therefore. We can access DH5α competent cell, P. a DN1 strain, and good facilities for molecular experiment. Besides, in this kind of environment, our safety can be guaranteed.
Human Practices support
When we were doing our human practice, we received a lot of help and assistances. School of Chemical Engineering helped us with contacting with the chemical plant for us. Besides, Shaanxi Provincial Lifescience Alliance, composed with Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xidian University, Northwest A&F University, Shaanxi Normal University held Shaanxi Province Life science forum, which provided us a good plate form to popularize the knowledge of synthesis biology.
