8/21:
• Prep for testing
8/22: MRSA Testing day 1
• Hydrate MRSA and Staphylococcus Aureus
• Create liquid cultures in preparation for testing
• Gel Extraction of two samples each of lnqZE, lnqZA, lnqZQ, lnq Z
8/23: MRSA testing day 2
• Performed zone of inhibition test
8/24: MRSA testing day 3
• Analyzed results of the zone of inhibition test
• Performed test to see if any protein would kill a liquid culture of the cells
• Gel Extraction of two samples each of Z+E, Z+A, ZQ, Lnq Z
8/25:
• Analyzed the results
• Killed all MRSA and Staphylococcus aureus samples
• Disinfected lab
9/01:
• Transform DH5ɑ cells with iGEM plasmids and plate.
9/02:
• Make small liquid cultures of both plasmid 1 and plasmid 2
9/03:
• MiniPrep iGEM plasmids
• RE Digest of the iGEM plasmids
9/05:
• Ran digests on gel and gel extracted
• Make small liquid cultures of GST Epi, GST A53, GST Lnq Z, MBP Z+A, and MBP Z+Q
