iGEM’s 4th International InterLab Measurement Study aims to develop a “robust measurement procedure for green fluorescent protein”. By standardizing protocols, the InterLab study can test for reliability in results. Our team was one of many teams across the world that measured the fluorescence of GFP to see how precisely the protocol could be followed. Using a plate reader, we were able to measure the GFP that was expressed from the parts provided. Below is the data we collected from our interlab study:
