国际遗传工程机器大赛(iGEM),英文全称为International Genetically Engineered Machine Competition,由麻省理工学院于2003年创办, 2005年发展成为国际性学术竞赛,是合成生物学领域的顶级国际性学术竞赛。

ZJUT - CHINA成立于2016年12月,将于今年十一月代表工大赴美国波士顿参加iGEM决赛。
我们利用特定基因构建重组质粒并将其转入大肠杆菌,基因表达出的光敏蛋白赋予了大肠杆菌特殊的生命特性,使其能够在特定波长光的照射下进行裂解,从而释放出我们所需要的代谢产物。
