Zhihu is the biggest answer and question BBS in China (like Quora), and our captain – Zhang, Chen – is an answerer there who has more than one thousand fans. Thus, Zhang decided to write a science fiction to spread synthetic biology and attract people’s interest.

The link above is a science fiction which describe a scientist synthesis and accidentally release a kind of archaea that can absorb almost all the sunlight to synthesis sugar and protein and quickly break down organism, plastic and metal.
The story will attract people’s interest of synthetic biology and willing to learn about it. Until now, the article has already been read by more than 200 people who followed my science fiction column.
