Conduction System

This system is the most foundational system in our project. Here, we confirmed the function of two parts of this system, the Cytochrome c Maturation A-H(Ccm A-H) protein complex and the Metal Reductase CAB(Mtr CAB) protein complex. First, for the Ccm A-H, we confirm that this protein complex can successfully mature Mtr CAB, which is a member of cytochrome c. Moreover, we also confirm the function of the Mtr CAB protein. It can transfer extracellular electrons into the cytoplasm though it's heterologous expressed in E.coli, not its original host. The strain expressing Mtr CAB will have a stronger cathode current.
