Science is not an isolate entity. It always has a close relationship with society and social issues, which require a thorough social interactions in our project design. Social interactions in human practice has been a cornerstone of the our scientific method from the very beginning. Our human practice can be divided into three main parts:
Engagement and education
We held a lecture with brain imaging professor to promote interdisciplinary communication between different fields. We also educate Sicuan’s junior high school students on synthetic biology.
Communication.
Communicating seminar with psychology professor enlighten us to improve our behavior experiment design.
Collaboration
Through collaboration with two high school iGEM team, we help them with plasmid subcloning and dealing with inclusion body in protein engineering.
