Yulian Dobrev

Since birth I’ve tried to understand the diversity of interactions between all living organisms on Earth. Biology by its own is not enough, so I integrated the “Frontier of Life Science” undergraduate program at Paris Descartes and the CRI: it covers all scientific fields and promote interdisciplinarity between them. The current step of my journey is synthetic biology, that’s why I joined the iGEM competition. My role in the Bettencourt team is to take part in the Human Practice : how can our project be implemented into the world? The next step of my journey is a master degree in Marine Ecology, but not in Paris anymore, because unfortunately my beautiful city lacks an ocean!

Ariel Lindner

I'm a research director at the Systems Evolutions and Engineering Dynamics (SEED) group at the French National Biomedical Research Institute (INSERM) and co-founder of the Centre for Research and Interdisciplinarity (CRI). Since 2006 I've been mentoring the first French team to participate in the iGEM adventure and still enjoy being challenged by team students and see their projects flower.

Jake Wintermute

Hello I am Jake. I like to do scientific research in various topics: aging, photobiology, body odor and tuberculosis. I also teach Introduction to Synthetic Biology for the AIV Master's program at the CRI.
