We'd like to thank all those who have helped us over this one and a half year. Without them nothing would have been possible. For their patience, goodwill, commitment and especially the good memories.


CeBiB senior investigators:

  • Severine Cazaux: She deserves a monument. Thanks for be our lab advisor and teaching us every single lab technique and protocol. She has kindly given us a pCB1C3 vector when we needed it too. She was a part of iGEM PLA 2015 project.
  • Dr (c) José Duguet: Another monument for her. Thanks for all your pieces of advice, for always be available to help us with your wisdom. He has been with Severine our lab advisor too. He has given us many lab protocols, helped with the design of our construct and helped us with the order of the DNA g-blocks. He was member of iGEM PLA project 2015.
  • Javiera Gomez: She has been our iGEM godmother. She was a member of the iGEM PLA Project 2015 and the OpenBio director. Thanks for all your pieces of advice, for your patience, love and commitment. She attended our team meetings, and guided us with the distribution of the work, she gave us ways to solve problems of coexistence between team members and to many others things. With Luis, she has gotten a sponsor's deal for the team with Merck.
  • Dr (c) Juan Amado: He has helped us with lab work when nobody of our advisors could be with us. Also he has given us protocols and pieces of advice.

  • CeBiB communications and administration team:

  • Paz Zañartu: She is the financial manager of the CeBiB. She has been on charge of our money helping us with everything that we could need (Sponsors, tickets,etc). Thanks for always be in the mood, for your uncounted ways to make our money work and for your commitment with the team.
  • Irene Román: She is the general secretary of the CeBiB. She always is very efficient and helped us with the purchase of airline tickets.
  • Noemí Miranda: She is the communications manager of the CeBiB. Thanks for helped us with the esthetic of our project, for helped us to structure the project, and for be sometimes who says what nobody want to say. She managed all of our Merchandising for the Jamboree.
  • Marcela Antipán: She is part of the CeBiB’s communications team. She helped us with the design of our Merchandising.

  • Mathematical and Physics Science School of the Universidad de Chile

  • Dr. Franck Quero: He is a member of the Material Science Department. Thanks for allows us to work with Cellulose in your lab when we thought that our project will take this way.

  • Science School of the Universidad de Chile.

  • Roberto Gamboa: He is the financial manager of the Science School of the University of Chile. He helped with the purchase of the Jamboree tickets and with airfare for the students of the Science School.

  • Karina Salas: She is a social work student of the Social Sciences School of the Universidad de Chile. She has worked very hard with the HP team, helping their with the polls and visiting Puchuncaví. Also, She has cooperated with the collaborations and translating texts. The Greenhardtii Project team really appreciate your work, sacrifice and compromise, thanks for everything kari!
  • Andrea Wallach: She was one of the most important person in the road to iGEM. In difficult times associated a financier crysis on the team she was the helping hand. We are very grateful for save us, and pay our initial inscription on the competition and for purchase some other tickets for the jamboree.
  • Yu-Wen Tang: She is a chilean researcher in United States. She has kindly received one of our team members in her house during our stay in Boston.
  • Rodrigo Aguilar: He is a chilean researcher in United States. He has managed visits to different labs in Hardvard and MIT for the team members.
  • Dra.Alison Smith: She is a senior researcher from the Departament of plant science of the University of Cambridge. She has kindly shared the METE promoter sequence, its 5' UTR and its 3' UTR.
  • Dr.Jörg Nichelsen: He is a senior researcher from the Ludwig Maximilians Universität München. He has kindly reviewed our lab plans and given a piece of advices for the best algae conditions.
  • Dr.Tomás Egaña: He is a senior researcher from the Insituto de Biología e Ingeniería Médica of the Pontifice Universidad Católica de Chile. He has kindly given us diferent algae strains, equipament, space in his Lab and pieces of advice to the develoment of our project
