1. The third International Symposium on Epigenetic Genomics organized:
In order to complete our project and products, we need to rely on a variety of sources of knowledge. In May this year, all of our team members participated in the third International Symposium on Epigenetic Genomics organized by the National Chung Cheng University in the school. In this conference, we have seen the relevant information published by different talents in various professional field Research, and we also visited a lot of scholars on the study of oral environment. To ask them a lot of knowledge, which helps us to build the idea of the problem, We have a lot of benefited in this conference.
2. The laboratory safety and health education and training:
We know that for the public, the safety of synthetic biology has always been the focus of attention. Thus, in order to let the community can trust our research and development of products, All of team member also participated in the relevant security Training. In the middle of September we participated the laboratory safety and health education and training that held by national Chung Cheng University. We have a better understanding of the safety of the laboratory in this training.
3. MIT beyond food mini bootcamp:
In order to allow us to better understand the basic concepts and processes of entrepreneurship, we hope that through the study of relevant knowledge in this professional field, so that our products can better meet the needs of society. In May this year, we participated in the "MIT beyond food mini bootcamp" that held by MIT in the United States. In this two-day camp, we came into contact with a very professional lecturer in this field and let us actual operation of the relevant business process in a short time. We learned an important concept in these process and are benefiting a lot.

1. A short version of health insurance introduction:
Taiwan's health insurance has been a major highlight of social policy. When we conducted the PMR market survey, we found that the general public did not have a complete understanding of Taiwan's health insurance, and even misunderstandings that lead to the abuse of social welfare system, resulting in the waste of social resources and the burden of state finances. From oral health care, our products are more expected to be able to combine with the country's health insurance system and hope that through our product. Users will be able to know their oral conditional through our device and to know how to improve their oral status. In order to avoid the follow-up to a large number of medical resources, the user's mouth can be early detection of tooth decay so that reduce the country in the part of the medical expenses, more to take a preventive treatment. So we have made a detailed introduction to the national health insurance system through a simple publicity, in which we explain the health insurance situation detail in Taiwan over the years, and explain the meaning of health insurance, to build a the correct use of health insurance concept. Expectations can teach the public the correct concept of the community to bring more benefits, so that the sustainable development of national resources.

2. Actual experimental operation:
In order to make it easier and closer for students to understand our experiment, we actually let students to do the relevant experiments on biology. Those senior high school students can be to understand what need to pay attention to the skills though a very simple the experiment from the activities. They are interested in the relevant knowledge of the experiment, have a good contact during this activities. After activities of the feedback, they said that for such activities are very interested, and hope that the future have more opportunities to participate same activities.
3. University camp and senior high school camp to explain synthetic biology, introduction team:
In order to allow synthetic biology from the grassroots began to build a certain knowledge, so that more people can understand the biology of synthetic technology and security. During the summer, we went to the camp of University and senior high school, to detailed introduce about the iGEM and synthetic biology to their. In our current design, the senior high school students can simply understand about the biotechnology related technology, as well as the various aspects of the impact in this behind . According to our feedback questionnaire in the course, before this course, most of the students have not experienced for synthetic biology and even fundamental changes in food and other related issues, there are doubts or even bad image, But after this course, most of the students are not only a correct and more understanding for the synthesis of biology and genetic modification and other issues, but also to eliminate the previous synthesis of biology in this area of various questions.
On the other hand, we introduce about our team project and current status to high school students. Thought this introduction they can clearly understand the current health care problems in Taiwan, and why we want to do this project. In the course of the feedback, they said that they learn to a lot of acknowledge from this communication and they also want make same thing in future.

Method
1. Day 1 : Resuspended each plasmid in plate 7 and transform into Escherichia coli DH5α. (Transformation protocol is from iGEM) 2. Day 2 : Pick 2 colonies from each of plate and inoculate it on 5-10 mL LB medium +Chloramphenicol.Grow the cells overnight (16-18 hours) at 37°C and 170 rpm. 3. Day 3 : Set instrument to read OD600 (as OD calibration setting)and measure OD600 of the overnight cultures 4. Dilute the cultures to a target OD 600 of 0.02 in 12 ml LB medium + Chloramphenicol in 50 mL falcon tube (covered with foil to block light). 5. Incubate the cultures at 37°C and 170 rpm. 6. Take 1000 μL samples of the cultures at 0, 2, 4, and 6 hours of incubation and place samples on ice 7. 4 replicates of 100 uL samples were taken from each culture at 0, 2, 4, and 6 hours of incubation and placed in a 96 well plate for OD and fluorescence measurements using the setup described above
