Brainstorming


Wound Healing (Care)

  • Goal: To help prevent bleeding and expedite the healing process
  • Assist platelets in clotting process
  • Ma
  • Use a cream to apply before a wound is opened in order to start healing process quicker

  • Producing Electrolytes/Hydration

  • Goal: To detect dehydration in the human system
  • Body recognizes dehydration too slowly
  • Human body consists of different types of mineral and when the body sweats it can lose lots of minerals

  • Lactose Intolerance

  • Goal: Design a bacteria that can sense small amounts of lactase
  • Bacteria could also break down the lactase before entering the digestive tract

  • Gluten Intolerence

  • Goal: Engineering bacteria to attack and break down gluten that sits inside the gut and causes blockage
  • Glut sitting in the gut allows less space for nutrition absorption in small intestine

  • Organism to Degrade Cellulose

  • Goal: Engineer E. Coli to break down compost, or waste
  • Using E. Coli as a form of renewable energy
